47	D-608	28/06/10 23:16hrs	Launched to assist a women who had fallen onto the banks of the River Wear at Deptford. The women was recovered by Fire Fighters and the ILB was stood down.
46	B-835	27/06/10 14:37hrs	Launched after reports of a person standing on the wrong side of safety railings on Wearmouth Bridge. After approx. 20 minutes, the women was talked down to safety by Police.
45	B-835	23/06/10 16:16hrs	Launched to assist the crew of a 28ft sailing yacht (2 POB) which had suffered total electrical failure and was unable to re-enter S/land Harbour. The lifeboat took the yacht in tow and landed it at S/land Marina.
44	B-835	22/06/10 13:37hrs	Launched to assist the crew of a 15ft speedboat (4 POB) which had suffered mechanical failure 200m east of Seaburn beach. The lifeboat took the boat in tow and landed it at S/land Marina slipway.
43	B-835	17/06/10 00:15hrs	Launched after reports of a loud splash from river underneath Queen Alexandra Bridge. After 90 minutes of searching, the teams were stood down.
42 41	B-835 D-608	14/06/10 09:00hrs	Lifeboats launched to locate and assist a fishing coble which had suffered engine failure 1m east of Seaham. The lifeboats located the vessel and it was taken in tow and returned to moorings at S/land Marina.
40	B-835	10/06/10 12:25hrs	LAUNCH CANCELLED - Kite Surfer assisted from the sea at Seaburn by RNLI Lifeguards.
39	D-608	10/06/10 11:01hrs	Lifeboat launched to assist a women who was stuck in mud near to Liebherr cranes, Deptford. On arrival it was discovered that the Fire Brigade had managed to pull the women clear to safety.
38	B-835	08/06/10 17:22hrs	Launched to assist the crew of a 16ft motor boat (2 POB) which had suffered engine failure 200m off Cliffe Park, Seaburn. The vessel was towed back to S/land Marina slipway by the lifeboat.
37	B-835	06/06/10 10:30hrs	Launched to assist a 33ft fishing vessel which was lost in fog with no navigation equipment. The crew located the vessel 4.5m SSE off S/land. It was then escorted back to S/land Harbour.
36	B-835	02/06/10 10:20hrs	Launched after reports of a person floating in the water close to St Peter's Campus. The lifeboat crew located an old sea survival suit which had been mistaken as a person.
JUNE
35	B-835	26/05/10 16:05hrs	Lifeboat launched to assist the crew of a 36ft motor cruiser had suffered a fouled propeller. The lifeboat crew managed to clear the propeller before allowing the vessel to continue on its passage.
34	B-835	22/05/10 16:33hrs	Lifeboat launched to help search for a missing 4 year old child at South Shields. While on-route the lifeboat was stood down as the child was located safe and well.

32	B-835	07/05/10 20:00hrs	Launched to investigate the spoken word "MAYDAY" on channel 16. After a full search of the harbour entrance the lifeboat was stood down. Incident was recorded as a HOAX call.

17	B-817	21/03/10 11:35hrs	Launch Cancelled - Fishing vessel managed to resolve engine issue prior to launch.
16	D-608	18/03/10 11:20hrs	Launched after reports of a man standing on the wrong side of safety railings on Queen Alexandra Bridge. After approx. 1 hour, the man was talked down to safety by Police.
15	B-817	17/03/10 12:06hrs	Launched after red flares sighted near Seaham Harbour. A full search of the area was carried out alongside an RAF Nimrod with no result. Later confirmed that flares were fired from the land.
13 14	B-817 D-608	09/04/10 19:29hrs	Launched after reports of a person in the water opposite "The Glass Centre". Sadly it was discovered that the reported person was in fact a body. The body was recovered from the water by the lifeboat crew and handed over to the Police.
12	B-817	01/04/10 06:41hrs	Launched after a dog is washed off Hendon promenade into the sea. The lifeboat crew managed to pull the dog from the water and land it at Sunderland Marina. News Release

FEBRUARY
4	B-817	30/01/10 15:45hrs	Lifeboat launched to assist 2 sailing dinghy's which were reported as being in difficulty in heavy weather. The lifeboat crew discovered that the sailors were very experienced and not in any difficulty.
3	B-817	23/01/10 09:45hrs	Launched to assist the crew of a 36ft fishing vessel (2 POB) which had suffered engine failure 1.5m NE of Roker Pier. The vessel was towed back to moorings at Sunderland Marina by the lifeboat.
